Greater Power to the Pedal - Evening Post 2008

Latest News

If you weren't aware, Pedal Express don't just use cycles we also have a fleet of vans that run on either electricity or recycled vegetable oil! This means that you can still be environmentally aware when you have to move larger loads or a longer distance - we even write it on the side of the van so that everyone will know.

Next time you need to move something bigger or further, give us a ring and see how competitive we are whilst being environmentally friendly. You don't have to choose between your wallet and your conscience - get the best of both worlds with Pedal Express

A New Addition

We hope you have noticed that your calls are being answered by a different voice these days - our newest addition to the team is Caroline Goodchild.

Caroline met Chris when her daughter Lily met Chris and Deborah's son Joe and the two toddlers became inseparable. Deborah and Caroline were thrown together, as the two children wanted to play together on a daily basis, and so when Caroline mentioned wanting a bit of part time work Chris was quick to snap her up!

Although she was previously a solicitor she found the stress of the job didn't fit in well with family life - and her daughters obsession with the park and Joe! So we are glad that she is happy to follow her other calling - a dedication to great customer service. We think she is an expert at that and we are sure you'll agree!

Growing for the Future

On a cold and very wet day in March, we were invited out to Derbyshire by The National Forest to plant trees. We had pledged trees as a thank you to our customers at Christmas and we also promised to plant them but that was a promise we were starting to regret.

It was definately a "welllie day" but we all got stuck in and by the end of the day, we were much wetter, Joe was much dirtier and The National Forest were a little closer to their 14,000 tree target!

If you would like to go and find them - to prove we did actually plant them, they are at Poppy Wood, just off the A514 Nr Melbourne.
